Mangaluru, Jul 13: Chetak Mangalore launched their new Chetak 2901 Blue Line series scooters on Saturday, July 13, at Hampankatta.
The chief guest of the inauguration ceremony, Tulu movie actor Chetan Rai Maani, said, "In the two-wheeler segment, Bajaj scooters are prominent. When I was young, I rode Bajaj scooters and was always happy while riding them. Today, most of the Chetak scooters are vintage, and this new electric model is a gift from Bajaj to its customers. Also present on this occasion, singer Pratiksha Bhat said, "Bajaj is a very good brand, and for a long time, I was planning to buy an electric scooter. It feels like this is the best scooter of them all."

Bajaj Chetak 2901 is the most affordable offering by the company, with the electric scooter starting at an ex-showroom price of Rs 95,998. The company offers the vehicle with standard and TecPac options. The electric scooter features a battery with 2.88 kWh, making the total kerb weight of the scooter 123 kg. The Bajaj Chetak 2901 electric scooter has drum brakes at the front and back. Ensuring safety, the Bajaj Chetak 2901 scooter features a combined braking system. The company offers the ride in five different color options, including black, red, lime yellow, white, and azure blue.
The Bajaj Chetak 2901 standard provides a range of 123 km, making it suitable for long rides. The electric scooter requires only 4 hours for 80% charging, which is quite less than its competitors.
