Udupi: Biker seriously injured in crash with stationary bus

Daijiworld Media Network – Udupi (MS)

Udupi, Jul 16: A bike crashed into a stationary bus at Nergi near Malpe Citizen Circle early Tuesday morning, leaving the rider seriously injured.

The rider, identified as Lakshman (60), a resident of Gundibail, sustained serious injuries in the accident.

Ishwar Malpe, a social worker, and his team promptly responded to the scene and quickly attended to Lakshman. They initially transported him to Adarsh Hospital and later transferred him to KMC, Manipal, for further medical treatment.

Due to heavy rain, the stationary vehicle may have been difficult to see, and the slippery road conditions necessitate extra caution for travellers.

What nonsense..... where should the park the bus if not on the roadside.... it's the two wheeler riders who drive and get killed themselves. Recently I saw a old man getting two wheeler licence who does not even know which is right or left side hand signal. This is the pathetic situation how the drivers licence and two wheeler licences are being issued.
