New Delhi, Nov 1 (IANS): Newcomer Chirag Paswan, son of politician Ram Vilas Paswan, admits his strong backing helped him in getting an easy entry into tinsel town, but says only talent sustains in the competitive industry.
"I have gone through my own struggle as well. But I won't shy away from saying that a heavyweight surname helps one get an easy entry into the film industry. In fact, why just films, it helps you get an easy entry into any industry," Chirag told reporters here Tuesday.
However, the young actor, whose debut film "Miley Na Miley Hum" is releasing Friday, says he is in touch with reality.
"I know it all boils down to talent. You may get easy entry, but to maintain your position is in your hands. It all depends on how you are able to sustain your position, otherwise you will be kicked out the very next time," he said.
Chirag, who will be seen with three beauties -- Kangana Ranaut, Sagarika Ghatge and Neeru Bajwa in the film, finds his role model in megastar Amitabh Bachchan.
"Like many aspiring actors in our country, I cannot look beyond Amitji for inspiration. He is the ultimate," said Chirag, adding: "Be it his screen presence, his dialogue delivery...there's so much one can learn from him. Whether the angry young man or in romance, he did justice to every kind of role, and I look up to him."
