Beltangady, Jul 17: A workshop on snake awareness environmental information was jointly organized by Catholic Sabha Madanthyar unit & Rotary Club Madanthyar on July 14 in the church hall, Madanthyar.
Snake Kiran Mangalore, a conservationist, provided detailed information about snakes, their benefits to the environment, contributions to their protection, and more.
The event was attended by over a hundred members. Church religious leaders were present. Catholic Sabha president Rtn Celestine D'Souza, coordinator Rtn Maxim Albuquerque, and all members present.
Rotary president Rtn Nityanand B and secretary Rtn Tulsi Das Pai, former president Rtn Kantappa Gowda also attended. The programme was effectively compered by Catholic Sabha office bearer Vincent Moras.
