Mangaluru, Jul 19: Responding to Dakshina Kannada MP Capt Brijesh Chowta's request, the South Western Railway has provided an additional train between Mangaluru and Bengaluru.
Due to heavy rainfall causing landslides, the primary national highways connecting Mangaluru and Bengaluru have been blocked, cutting off road connectivity. In response, Captain Brijesh Chowta, Member of Parliament for Dakshina Kannada, had written to the General Manager of South Western Railway and the Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) of Mysuru, requesting the urgent provision of additional train services between Mangaluru and Bengaluru.
