New Delhi, Nov 2 (IANS): Boys will be boys - and that's something Abhishek Bachchan, Sikander Kher and Neil Nitin Mukesh proved on the sets of Abbas-Mustan's action thriller "Players". The trio had a blast shooting for the film, especially in New Zealand.
While shooting in New Zealand for a scene that required them to be racing in their Mini Coopers within the confines of the Wellington Airport, the trio decided to have a little fun of their own.
"Abhishek, Sikander and Neil got along like a house on fire while shooting for 'Players'. While permissions for shooting within Wellington were hard to acquire, Abhishek spoke to the authorities and it was smooth sailing from thereon. In between the shots, the guys decided to have a race of their own with the Mini Coopers and surprisingly touched the finish line at the same time," said a source from the sets.
The first look of the film will be unveiled on several channels across the small screen Thursday between 9 to 10 p.m.
Presented by Viacom 18, "Players" is the remake of 2003 American film "The Italian Job". The Hindi film, which also features Sonam Kapoor, Bipasha Basu, Bobby Deol and Omi Vaidya, will be in theatres Jan 6, 2012.
