Kundapur, Jul 21: A tyre of a running KSRTC bus detached from the vehicle on Saturday near Hemmakki in Ajri, causing alarm but no injuries.
The bus was traveling from Ajri to Kundapur when the incident occurred. Fortunately, the vehicle was moving at a slow pace, allowing all passengers to escape uninjured.
Chandrahasa, one of the passengers, stated that this dangerous mishap was due to the negligence of KSRTC and the depot mechanics. He urged strict action against those responsible for endangering the lives of passengers.
