Udupi, Jul 21: Lakshmi Hebbalkar, Udupi in-charge minister observed the landslide from a distance on Sunday, July 21, without interacting directly with the villagers who had gathered at the base of the hill, engaging the villagers

Lakshmi Hebbalkar visited Byndoor to inspect the site of the recent landslide at Someshwara Hill, during her visit to flood prone areas in Udupi district.

Lakshmi Hebbalkar inspected the hill from the coastal area, which led to frustration among the local residents. Villagers expressed their anger, questioning whether the minister had come to see the hill or to visit the nearby beach temple.
