Puttur: Illegal transportation of wooden logs - One arrested

Puttur, July 21: A team led by the Uppinangady zonal forest officer intercepted a truck transporting wooden logs without the required permits and apprehended the driver at Mata near here.

The arrested individual, identified as Nikil Sangam from Aletty village in Sullia, was reportedly transporting the logs to Mangaluru, according to forest officials.
