Mumbai, Nov 4: The children’s cultural extravaganza organized by ‘Chinnara Bimba’, children’s play troupe, was inaugurated at Dr M Vishveshwarayya auditorium of Karnataka Sangh, Matunga (West), recently.
Renjala Ramdas Upadhyaya, chief manager, Pejavar Mutt, inaugurated the event. Karnataka Sangh president Dr G D Joshi presided over the programme.
Surendra Poojary, chief donor and managing director of Sai Care Logistics, was the chief guest on the occasion.
Karnataka state Balabhavan Society chairman G K Bhat, hotelier Jayant Prabhu, Mundappa Payyade, and young journalist Omdas Kannangar were the guests of honour.
Hundreds of children participated in various competitions and exhibited their cultural talent during the three-day extravaganza.
Bunts Sangh president Aikala Harish Shetty presided over the valedictory function and distributed prizes to the winners of various competitions.
Navi Mumbai’s renowned social worker Santosh D Shetty was the chief guest on the occasion.
Bunts Sangh education and social welfare committee president Karnire Vishwanat Shetty, higher education committee member Ravindra Arasa, customs officer Rohit Hegde, Chinnara Bimba promoter Ramesh Rai, Satish Salian, and Talipadiguttu Balakrishna Shetty were present on the dais.
Chinnara Bimba chief trustee Prakash B Bhandary, founder president Pooja Prakash Bhandary, executive president Naina Prakash Bhandary, joint secretary Sparsh Salian, Ankita Rai, treasurer Dhiraj Shetty, and Megha Hegde were also present.
