Mangaluru: Mangala College celebrates 25th Kargil Vijay Diwas

Mangaluru, Jul 27: The NCC Unit of Mangala College of Allied Health Sciences hosted a memorable event on July 26, at Ishavasyam, Mangala Auditorium, commemorating the 25th anniversary of Kargil Vijay Diwas.

The highlight of the event was the presence of chief guest N B Patil, former army naib subedar and NCC PI staff, who shared his personal experiences as a veteran of the Kargil War.

Naib Subedar Patil was felicitated for his distinguished service to the nation, inspiring the students and faculty to uphold the values of courage, patriotism, and service to the Nation.

As per instructions of chairman of Mangala Group of Institutions Dr Ganapathi P and vice chairman Dr Anitha G Bhat the entire programme successfully organised.

Dean prof Pratijna Suhasini G R, principals of Mangala College of Allied Health Sciences & Mangala College of Paramedical Sciences, Prof Subrahmanya Nayak, principal of New Mangala College of Nursing & Mangala School of Nursing, Kavya Y NCC caretaker and physical educational director with and Yogeesh Patgar, physical educational director, NCC advisor Tony Pinto and teaching and non-teaching staff of the Mangala Group graced the occasion.

The programme saw enthusiastic participation from NCC cadets. Around 300 students of the Mangala Group participated this programme.
