Mangaluru: Two arrested for illegal transportation of beef

Mangaluru, Jul 30: The Bajpe police station PSI Revana Siddappa and his team confiscated 750 kg of beef worth Rs 2 lakh from two individuals on July 28.

The arrested individuals, Mohammed Arif (24) and Mohammed Sultan (19), are residents of Moodbidri Handelu.

The beef was found in a vehicle near Gopalakrishna Bajana Mandir in Baitari under Edapadavu village.

A team has been formed to apprehend the prime accused.
