Kundapur, Jul 31: On the morning of July 25, a group of intruders posing as police officers and officials arrived in two cars and attempted to enter a residence in Manoor, under the jurisdiction of the Kota police station. In response, the police have intensified their investigation.

Under the leadership of Udupi SP Dr Arun K, the Kota police, along with senior officials, have formed three teams. These teams are conducting investigations in Mumbai, Shivamogga, Bengaluru, and other locations.

There is speculation that the incident might be linked to a business dispute, with the intruders intending to intimidate or extort money from the homeowner, who is involved in various business dealings. Another angle being considered is that the robbers, disguised as police and IT officials, planned to create a cinematic scenario, forcing the residents to account for their gold, money, and other valuables before tying them up and robbing the house.

The incident remains shrouded in mystery, and with five days having passed without any new information, public curiosity about the intruders' motives is high. SP Dr Arun K stated to the media that the investigation is ongoing and that no further details are available at this time.
