Mangaluru: Ather launches Rizta, delivers 50 new scooters to customers

Mangaluru, Aug 2: Ather delivered brand new Ather Rizta scooters to 50 customers at the Ather showroom at Indus Business Centre, Kadri, on Friday, August 2.

Ather Rizta is the second product launched by Ather after the Ather 450 series. The Ather Rizta has three variants with a battery range from 2.9 kW to 3.7 kW, offering a certified range of up to 159 km on a single charge. Rizta pricing starts from Rs 1.09 lac.

Rizta is the world's first scooter to feature:

  • Skid Control: Ensures the scooter maintains its grip on rain, sand, or oil on the road.
  • Magic Twist: Twist down to accelerate. Twist up to slow down.
  • Google Maps with Live Traffic Updates.
  • Fall Safe: The motor shuts down automatically in case of falls for added safety.
  • Emergency Stop Signal: Tail lights flash when you brake suddenly to alert riders behind you.

Additionally, it boasts the largest seat in the scooter segment with 56L of storage space (34L in the boot and an additional 22L in the frunk). Owners can save up to Rs 3 lacs in fuel and service costs over 5 years. The running cost of the Ather is 25 paisa per kilometre compared to 2 rupees on a petrol scooter.

In Dakshina Kannada, Ather has 5 sales outlets located in Kadri, Kottara, Pumpwell, BC Road, and Puttur, along with 2 service centres in Kottara and Puttur.
