DKS, Cong leaders hold Jana Andolana programme against BJP-JD(S) padayatra

Bengaluru, Aug 4: As part of the ruling Congress party’s mass agitation or Jana Andolana programme against the BJP-JD(S) padayatra over the alleged MUDA scam, Deputy Chief Minister D K Shivakumar, other ministers and senior party leaders participated at a programme in Channapatna on Sunday.

“We will expose the misdeeds and corruption of BJP rule,” Shivakumar said.

The Deputy Chief Minister said the Congress government would oppose the show cause notice issued by Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot on the complaint lodged by social activist Abraham.

A bike rally was also organised as part of the Jana Andolana programme in which Shivakumar participated.

Home Minister Dr G Parameshwara, Transport Minister B Ramalinga Reddy, Health Minister Dinesh Gundu Rao, Forest Minister Ishwar Khandre, Housing Minister Zameer Ahmed Khan, Higher Education Minister Dr M C Sudhakar, Labour
Minister Santhosh Lad, Fisheries Minister Mankal Vaidya and other Congress leaders participated in the mass agitation programme.

    "The BJP-JDS padayatra is going to turn into a Antim Yatra(final journey). This is because BJP is soon going to sideline Kumaraswamy. Kumaraswamy will not be able to do anything in the states or at the central level. He will be kicked around like a football from here to there, and from there to here.”
