Daijiworld Media Network – Udupi (MS)

Udupi, Aug 5: A private bus driver and conductor from the city demonstrated remarkable humanity by driving the bus directly to a hospital to save the life of a young woman passenger who fell seriously ill.

The incident occurred on Monday morning. The bus, named Naveen, was traveling from Shirva to Udupi. As the bus reached the old Taluk office in the city, a young woman passenger vomited and fell unconscious. Driver Shashikant and conductor Saleem immediately drove the bus to the emergency section of Dr T M A Pai Hospital, which was nearby. The girl received first aid, and the bus driver and conductor stayed with her until her family members arrived at the hospital.

The public has widely appreciated the timely actions of driver Shashikant and conductor Saleem.

Good job appreciated. Whenever helping situation comes people not acting in the name of religion specially in our Tulunad . This is one more best example showing the humanity. Our useless politician divide the society in the name religion Hindu /Muslim just for their vote bank. Varna baki sab changa hai. Bhai Bhai hai. We all are human being first.

This is an unexpected event, not deliberately enacted, it was a voluntary act. Life saving acts, especially those of road accident victims need to be encouraged in our country.

S.G kankanady Mangalore ,why this reaction from you? Did you lose any money or do you have an ambulance? What if such a situation arose to your own people in a bus? Would you also react the same? Not normal. Be human first. Find the bus conductor and driver's reaction and help super and waited till her people came there. A big salute to them. They should be felicitated .

This is just one example of how beautiful the society will be if the people from all religions stay together, help each other and stay united (especially Hindu Muslims) .....need of the hour is for all the people to realize this and put an end to all the hatred towards each other and live peacefully....
