Puttur: Vomiting sensation saves 5 lives as container truck crushes empty car

Daijiworld Media Network – Puttur (MS)

Puttur, Aug 11: A sudden bout of vomiting sensation saved the lives of five passengers whose car was crushed by a falling container truck at Barchinahalla on Shiradi Ghat.

The incident occurred on NH 75, where a container truck fell on a car carrying five people from Davanagere. Fortunately, all five passengers were outside the vehicle at the time because one of them felt nauseous. The car was completely mangled, but the passengers were miraculously unharmed.

Ganesha, Shivu, Kavya, Dandyamma, and driver Abdul Rahiman Mulla, all from Davanagere, had visited Dharmasthala on Friday and Kukke Subramanya temple on Saturday. They were returning to Davanagere when the accident occurred around 11:30 am on Saturday.

Kavya, who was among the passengers, felt a sudden urge to vomit, prompting everyone to exit the car. The driver had walked a short distance away to relieve himself. While they were attending to Kavya, the massive container truck fell onto the parked car right before their eyes.

We like to sensationalise everything. If the vomiting sensation wasn’t there and the car wasn’t stopped ,maybe the container wouldn’t have fallen on the car .. who knows? We like to force feed news like these ..

If you think differently if she had no vomitting sensation, there was no need to stop car there & they would have passed that spot safely without causing any damage to car itself

I guess they parked the car in an unsafe place, so the container driver was also unable to control the truck. The moral of the story: Don't park vehicles on curved road shoulders.

I think the reason for the truck colliding is the Stopped Car.....the car should not be halted on the highway as per rules
