Mumbai, Nov 12: For somebody not new to controversies, it does not come as a surprise that yet another one has sprung up with a new venture. Yes, we are talking about film maker Ram Gopal Varma.
Varma, who has been facing heavy criticism in the industry with every movie of his, remains unperturbed by the reactions he gets. He still manages to give hits at the box office. Well, they say the industry is ‘kind to success’.
But it looks like RGV has not had enough. In a recent interview, RGV said that he is happy and content doing what he has been doing so far. He said, “I do not care about anybody. I make films because I love it and I want people to watch them. Whether they like it or not is another thing altogether. I am basically pushing my vision down their throats. Sometimes they might swallow it and sometimes they might just puke it out," he quips.
Further in the interview, RGV, speaking about his personal preferences, said he enjoys every single moment of his life by either “listening to music, making films or looking at a beautiful woman.” Whats more? The film maker added that he also values his priced possessions – “My most valuable possession is my collection of porn.” And what about his special preferences in porn? “It is hard to classify porn, you see”, he says. Well, never mind about that!
If one would ask what effect the controversies have on RGV, he says its all nothing but ‘entertainment’ for him. "Well, I've been called names all the time. The media calls me Ramu. After a point, you just lose sensitivity to it. The fact that I just do not care seems to accentuate the point," he explains.
