Udupi, Aug 16: In a head-on collision between a bus and a container truck, two drivers were injured in an accident that took place on the Padubidri-Karkala State Highway near Santurukopla.
The bus, traveling from Padubidri towards Karkala, lost control near the Subramanya Temple at Santurukopla and collided head-on with a container truck that was coming from the opposite direction.
Although the bus was carrying a significant number of passengers, only a few sustained minor injuries. Due to the impact, the bus veered off the road, and the front sections of both the bus and the container truck were completely wrecked.
Padubidri police arrived at the scene to investigate the incident.
