Mumbai, Aug 21 (IANS): Actress Devoleena Bhattacharjee, who will be turning 38 on August 22, has shared her birthday plans and talked about preparing herself for motherhood as she is all set to welcome her first baby.

Talking about her birthday plans this year, Devoleena said, "I will be shooting on my birthday this year. Typically, I would celebrate with my family and friends, but this year, I'm excited to spend it with my ‘Chhathi Maiyya Ki Bitiya’ team as well.”

For Devoleena, the team is like a second family.

“They’ve become like a second family to me, and I’m looking forward to sharing this special day with them.”

Devoleena shared that she “absolutely loves” her birthday.

“It’s always been a special day for me. Every year has its own unique memories, but this one feels particularly extraordinary. I’m cherishing every moment of it. I’m excited about my new journey into motherhood.

“I’m preparing myself for it, and this birthday feels different and extra special for both me and my husband. The anticipation of what’s to come adds a new layer of joy and meaning to the celebration."

Asked her about the special wish for the year, Devoleena shared: "When it comes to my wishes, honestly, all I hope for is good health, blessings, and love for my family. Those are the things that truly matter to me."

Taking to Instagram, Devoleena made the announcement that she is expecting her first child along with a string of pictures featuring and her husband Shanwaz Shaikh.
