Mangaluru, Aug 23: Mohammed Shiban, an employee of a mobile store at Bunts Hostel in the city, has allegedly stolen seven mobile phones worth Rs 2.36 lac and Rs 58,100 in cash from the shop's drawer.

Sandesh Shetty, the manager of the mobile shop at Janvi Plaza, had entrusted the store's full responsibility to Mohammed Shiban as Sandesh was going on leave. However, due to Shiban's mismanagement, Sandesh cut his leave short and returned early, only to find the shop closed.

After notifying the higher officials, Sandesh opened the shop and found the goods in disarray. An audit conducted by officials from Bengaluru revealed that seven mobile phones and cash were missing from the drawer. Upon questioning, Shiban confessed to taking the items and promised to return them. However, as he failed to do so, Sandesh Shetty filed a complaint at the Kadri police station.

Terribly wrong with this generation....all want to be rich or look rich at whatever cost...this guy has not just stolen the phones or money, but he has ruined the trust of the shop owner which he had kept on this guy. He has caused irreparable damage by his act no matter how many times pleads or repents...shame on him...

Find it soo bad.Biting the hand of who gave the butter and bread.Shop keepers should find out a applicant for a job his previous History.and not simply appoint any jack and jill in such a shop.Let them keep a certain amount as deposit in case they dupe him.Now he should be arrested and jailed till he pay back .May be whole shop would have cleared suppose owner came as he planned .
