Udupi: DC orders curbs on public access to few islands to ensure safety, enforce law

Udupi, Aug 31: In a move aimed at ensuring public safety and maintaining law and order, Deputy Commissioner Dr K Vidya Kumari has issued an order imposing restrictions on public access to certain islands in Udupi district.

The order prohibits public entry and activities on the Bhadragada Island, Middle Island (Kote), Madthiggudde Island, and Mattu Paar Island.

Additionally, public access to St Mary's Island is restricted from 6 pm to 6 am, and no activities are permitted during these hours.

These measures are implemented to control illegal activities and ensure the safety of the public.
