Bantwal, Sep 1: A car and a truck collided head-on at Marnabail on the Melkar-Mudipu Road on Saturday, leaving the car driver, Mustafa, a resident of Bolangadi, seriously injured.
The truck, which was transporting cement bags to Mudipu, collided with the car coming from the opposite direction toward Melkar.
The impact caused the car to make a complete U-turn. The truck driver sustained minor injuries.
Bantwal traffic police have registered a case and are conducting further investigations.
