Bengaluru, Sep 3: Kanara Entrepreneurs (KE) had a one-of-a-kind members meet on August 23 at The Grand Magrath. The well-attended evening had everything from networking, business pitches, camaraderie, and belly laughs.

KE lead member Mark D’Souza ushered the evening in with the KE prayer, following which the customary induction of new members took place. KE director memberships, Leena Lobo, proceeded to introduce 15 new members to KE with the solemn oath taking ceremony.

Keeping business focus on the fore, 2 members – Poorva Jain (Wisdom Scribe) and Clyde Tellis (Top Goa Tours) delivered their business pitches in a crisp, yet engaging style. Poorva’s all-in-1 Gen AI solution provided businesses and content creators with tools to enhance their communications. Clyde’s venture offered the opportunity for travellers to explore Goa and her vibrant, yet hidden experiences without the risks of online-scams and fraudulent packages above and beyond the run-of-the-mill exchanges.

The key guest for the evening, Anil Machado (national creative solutions head – HT Media Ltd), next took the members on a journey of the evolution of radio and its impact on listeners, businesses and brand-building. Anil’s presentation was complete with media that elicited imagination and a hall full of laughter and learning. He showcased how radio could engage and amplify one’s brand by harnessing the power of listeners’ imagination. The very well received session left many members not only educated about this area of media, but also an avenue worth considering for their own enterprises and businesses.

KE president, Claudius Pereira, spurred the audience into action by leading with quick squats to the count of 1-2-3 before enthralling the members with his story of the evening. His message encouraged members to develop the Ant Mindset and embrace a ‘Never Give Up’ attitude.

KE director mentoring, Pramod D’Souza and associate director mentoring, Sunil Attavar, together delivered some key announcements as well as the unveiling of a flagship event in September – KE Konnect.

The well-planned and efficiently executed evening was seamlessly emceed by Rishika Miranda who flawlessly held the evening’s agenda in place.

Many thanks to the KE board of directors for their ceaseless efforts to bring continued value to the KE members – from content to coordination and the management of yet another phenomenally successful evening.
