Mumbai: Shivaji Nagar Catholic Social Service Celebrates Annual Feast

Mumbai, Nov 21: The Shivaji Nagar Catholic Social Service (SNCSS) Group celebrated their annual feast recently.

The procession started from S. Anthony’s Church, Vakola, and ended at Shivaji Nagar. 

Vakola parish priest Fr Seraj Pinto and Fr Lawrence celebrated the festal Holy Mass that was themed on ‘Roman Missal – The way we worship reflects what we believe and determines how we will live’.


 

The prize distribution ceremony was held after the Holy Mass. Fr Pinto distributed the prizes to the winners of ‘Rangoli’ and drawing competitions.

The brilliance awards were presented to the toppers of SSC and HSC exams.

The senior citizens of the parish were also honoured for their contributions to the parish.

SNCSS Group president John Dias, vice-president Francis D’Souza, secretary Manoju Monteiro, joint secretary Maria Fernandes, treasurer Felix Rodrigues, joint treasurer Thomas D’Souza, members Lourdina Fernandes, Albert Froes, Maria Matos, Minen D’Souza, and Sandra D’Costa were present on the occasion.
