In GCC countries the temperature in summer sometimes may cross 55 degree centigrade and most of the construction or outside menial work is stopped by order of Municipal authorities by 10.00 AM. Terrible indeed.

Very Tragic !. Condolence to his bereaved Family. Generally, as per my knowledge this shouldn't has happen. In desert climate , if one has to do walking, Cycling or any other exercise they should start gradually from early march or so. So that they can adjust to extreme Climate of June to August. Since this time even in the evening mercury goes up to 60 C (including hot & humidity together). Moreover, more to do with once physical health & stamina. May his soul Rest in Eternal Peace.

Very sad indeed, may his soul rest in peace. During the months of August and September, extreme heat and humidity in Gulf countries can cause heat strokes. Therefore, it is important to drink plenty of water and protect yourself from the heat.

RAK sun is especially severe and humidity levels are high... I too had severe dehydration and sodium loss when I was working in RAK area... After long hospitalization in Dubai I somehow survived... Probably he should have been treated in Dubai where his survival chances would have increased.... However after views cannot bring precious life lost... My prayers for the family to get divine strength... RIP to the young soul...

Hello, I have been living in RAK for 13 years and there is nothing called as RAK Sun is hot and Other emirate sun is different. It’s the same everywhere. There are also great hospitals in RAK. We just need to make sure we are hydrated properly and are in good health condition. Please refrain from saying things that is factually untrue. Appreciate your understanding
