Bantwal: Truck carrying RAF personnel's baggage overturns, two injured

Bantwal, Sep 17: A truck carrying the baggage of RAF personnel overturned at Kudrotikatte near Moorje on the Bantwal-Beltangady national highway on Monday.

The truck, which was transporting baggage from Bhadravathi to B C Road, overturned, leaving the driver with minor injuries. Another personnel, Santhappa Nayak, was injured and admitted to a government hospital in Mangaluru.

According to Punjalakatte police, no case has been registered in connection with the incident.

Former zilla panchayat member M Tungappa Bangera assisted in arranging a crane to lift the overturned truck.
