Mangaluru: Medical student found dead, body decomposed

Mangaluru, Sep 17: A medical student from Suratkal was found dead in his residence at Pragatinagara, Suratkal. His decomposed body was discovered in his room.

The deceased, Mohan Kumar Meti (22), was a native of Chikkaballapur. On Thursday, Mohan’s mother tried calling him multiple times but received no response. Concerned, she requested the house owner to check on him. The owner visited the rented accommodation and found that Mohan had hanged himself, with his body in an advanced state of decomposition.

Mohan’s parents arrived in the city on Monday and took his remains to their native place for the final rites. The Suratkal police have registered a case regarding the incident.
