Mangaluru, Sep 17: St Theresa's School, Bendur, celebrated Eid Milad-un-Nabi, marking the birth of the Prophet Muhammad, with a heart-warming programme. The event was graced by Ruksana Abbas, renowned for her work in counselling and teaching, who attended as the chief guest. principal Sr Lourdes warmly welcomed her with a floral tribute, while vice principal Sr Reena also honoured the occasion with her presence.

The celebration began with a thoughtful speech delivered by a group of students, who spoke on the significance of Eid Milad-un-Nabi and emphasized the life and teachings of the Prophet Muhammad, focusing on peace, compassion, forgiveness, and moral integrity.

The programme continued with a vibrant traditional dance performed by the students, embodying the joyous spirit of the occasion. This was followed by a melodious song celebrating the virtues of the Prophet, promoting messages of unity and harmony.

In her address, Ruksana Abbas inspired the gathering by underscoring the importance of living by the Prophet’s teachings, particularly focusing on kindness, humility, and generosity in daily life.
