Mangaluru: Milagres College organises Hindi Diwas

Mangaluru, Sep 17: Hindi Diwas was organised by department of Hindi and IQAC at Milagres College, on September 17.

Dr P V Shobha, HOD Hindi, St Agnes PU College, Mangaluru was the chief guest. She, in her address said, “Hindi is one of the most spoken languages in the world. Even in India, a large number of people speak Hindi as their first language. There are many job opportunities in the field of Hindi. Make good use of it.”

Dr Michael Santamar, principal of the college, who presided over the function, wished the programme well.

Shravya N, head of the Hindi department, and Vandana, a lecturer, were present on the occasion.

Krishnaveni Deshpande welcomed the gathering and Shifana compered the programme. Kevin C proposed the vote of thanks. Nikel spoke about the significance of Hindi Diwas.
