Bantwal: Hindi Divas celebrated at Lions Seva Mandir

Bantwal, Sep 19: Hindi Divas was celebrated at Lions Seva Mandir in B C Road on Wednesday, organized by the Taluk Hindi Language Teachers' Association with support from the zonal education office, Bantwal, Karnataka State High School Hindi Teachers’ Association, Bengaluru, and Lions Club Bantwal.

Zonal education officer Manjunathan M G inaugurated the event, stating, "Hindi, as the national language, is the language of the heart. It is commendable that Hindi Divas is celebrated every year, bringing together all Hindi language teachers."

The program was presided over by Lions Club Bantwal president Radhakrishna Bantwal. Shanta, a Hindi teacher from Manchi Government High School, was honoured with the ‘Hindi Ratna – Good Teacher’ award. Additionally, Hindi teachers who were promoted to head teacher positions were felicitated, along with honorary president Ramananda Nujippadi.

The event saw the presence of zonal resource center coordinator Raghavendra Ballal, Bantwal Taluk Co-Teachers’ Association president Joyol Lobo, district president of the Hindi Language Teachers’ Association Geeta, and taluk president Pauline. Lecturer Dr Malati Pai served as the resource person.

Honorary president Ramananda Nujippadi delivered the introductory speech and welcomed the attendees. Teacher Shadakshari presented the report, teacher Deepika read the event summary, and teacher Imtiyaz compered the event.
