Mangaluru, Sep 20: The Big Brands Expo 2024, organized by BNI (Business Network International) Mangaluru and Udupi, was inaugurated in a grand manner at the Dr T M A Pai Convention Centre on MG Road. The exhibition will run from September 20 to 22.
Speaking at the inauguration, Speaker of the Legislative Assembly U T Khader said, “Events like this expo are beneficial not only for industrialists and organizers but for the general public as well. It offers a unique opportunity to learn about multiple industries in one place. Let the BNI Big Brand Expo boost both industrial revenue and consumer income. Economic movement is the foundation for the development of any region, and this expo should stimulate financial growth and pave the way for successful industries.”
MLA Vedavyas Kamath added, “The Big Brand Expo has been successfully held in the city for the past three years, benefiting both industrialists and consumers. I have been participating in this event for the last three years. BNI operates in 79 countries worldwide, and through this expo, over Rs 160 crore worth of business transactions occurred in coastal Karnataka alone, contributing to its success.”
MLA Kamath also unveiled a book that contains information about BNI member organizations and their industries. The event was attended by ED of BNI Ganesh N Sharma, Big Brand Expo Chairman Mohanraj, Preethi Sharma, ED Mahesh Shetty, BNI member Mohan Shetty, and notable figures Sunil Dutt Pai, Prajwal Shetty, and campaign committee in-charge Dr Sachin Nadka.
In its third year, the BNI Big Brand Expo features exhibitions from 120 members of the organization, showcasing their industries. The expo will be open from 10 AM to 8 PM for three days. Products on display include building materials, automobiles, jewellery, HR services, lighting solutions, insurance, garments, IT products, software, office and home furniture, and food products. The exhibition will benefit people from Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, north Kerala, and Kodagu by offering access to quality products and services.
Ganesh N Sharma, ED of BNI, said, “BNI Mangaluru is part of a global network that has earned the recognition of industrialists worldwide. With 310 members involved in over 100 industrial fields, last year’s expo was a great success, and this year we are receiving an equally positive response.”
