Kundapur, Sep 25: In a freak accident, Janab Maulana Mohammad Mateen Saheb Siddiqui (51), a mosque cleric and resident of Gangolli, was injured after a tree branch fell on his moving scooter near Thrasi Holy Cross on the road.

He was traveling from Gangolli towards Thrasi on his scooter when the incident occurred.

A branch from a tree on the roadside suddenly fell on his scooter, causing injuries to his head and neck.

He was immediately taken to Kundapur hospital for treatment.
