Kundapur, Sep 25: Mubashir Bashir, 30, son of Bashir Ahmad, residing opposite the Jamia Mohalla police check post, has reportedly died of a heart attack in Saudi Arabia. This information has been confirmed by local expatriate Indians in Saudi Arabia and his family members in Gangolli.
Mubashir had married a young woman from Pune, Maharashtra, two years ago and was working in Saudi Arabia alongside his wife. He completed his primary education at Kundapura HM School, followed by higher secondary education at V K R English Medium School and PU education at Bhandarkars College. He later pursued an engineering degree at Anjuman College in Bhatkal and a college in Chennai.
While in the village, Mubashir actively participated in the joys and sorrows of the community. Four years ago, he facilitated the last rites of a boy from Uppinangadi who tragically drowned at sea, allowing the rituals to be performed at his home in Gangolli. He also personally covered the medical expenses of an injured individual. Known for providing support in times of need, he had recently gone to Saudi Arabia for employment.
Mubashir leaves behind his wife, parents, a brother, and a large circle of relatives. Details regarding the final rites will be confirmed after understanding the legal procedures in Saudi Arabia.
Upon receiving the news of his passing, family members and friends have gathered in large numbers at his residence in Gangolli, mourning the loss.
