Mangaluru, Sep 26: Santosh Rebello, University programme manager, India, Salesforce, led a session at St Joseph Engineering College (SJEC) on Monday, September 23, at the Kalam Auditorium.

The event, organised by the department of training & placement, focused on the theme “Learn Salesforce: Unlock the Power of AI & Data and Be Industry Ready,” targeting final-year engineering students.

Rebello highlighted the transformative potential of digital technologies, specifically how Artificial Intelligence (AI) and data are reshaping the professional landscape. He emphasised the importance of adapting to these rapid changes by acquiring essential skills in platforms like Salesforce, which integrate AI and data-driven solutions. In addition to discussing technology, Rebello provided valuable insights into corporate preparedness, covering key aspects such as resume building, optimising LinkedIn profiles, and practicing problem-solving skills. He encouraged students to proactively prepare for their careers by mastering these crucial competencies.

The session concluded with an engaging Q&A segment, where students posed insightful questions, reflecting their curiosity about the evolving industry and the relevance of the topics covered.

Sathyendra Bhat, head of training & placement, welcomed the attendees, and Glenson Toney, training coordinator, delivered the vote of thanks.
