Angela Sarah D'Almeida represents India at International Youth Music Competition in New York

Mangaluru, Sep 2: Angela Sarah D'Almeida, a Grade 5 student of Mount Carmel Central School, has brought immense pride to the nation by clinching First Place with Honours at the International Youth Music Competition held in November 2023.

She had the incredible honor of representing India at the prestigious DiMenna Centre in New York on September 1, 2024, where she performed at the prize winners' recital alongside representatives from countries such as Germany, Hungary, and Australia.

Angela's musical journey has been adorned with several accolades. In 2024, she secured the Platinum Prize in the Vocal Music (Junior category, 8-10 years) at the Universal Stars Music Competition (Season 1). She also won the Gold Prize at the BEETHOVINCI International Music Competition the same year.

Angela is the proud daughter of Dr Vivian D'Almeida and Dr Joylene D'Almeida from Maryhill, Mangaluru.
