Mumbai: 5th Pauline Book Fair to Kick Start from Dec 4

Mumbai, Nov 28: Pauline Book and Media Centre, Vasai run by Daughters of St Paul nuns are organizing their 5th Pauline Book Fair from Dec 2 to Dec 12 this year here near Bishops House, Vasai West.

Sr Gloria and Sr Stella said that, various categories of books from simple topics like read and colour for kids to Novels for grown ups will be on stand at the fair.

Books on General Knowledge, Spirituality, Biblical, Biographies, Medicine, Home Craft, Health, Cookery and many more to interest the public will be kept for exhibition and sale, to cater people of all walks of life.

"We have taken a lot of time and pain to select and collect books from various topics available around the globe." they said.

At the core of this Pauline Apostolate of the Media, initiated by Blessed James Alberione in the year 1914, is to serve people by offering them value based literature that can help transform people and so uplift society.

This annual media event is organized to enable a wider section of society to benefit from buying wholesome, value-based literature under one roof selected from the best of authors and titles. Besides, every book purchase will carry a discount.

The book fair will be open from 9.00 am to 9.00 pm daily. CDs, VCDs, DVDs to inspire, entertain, and enrich people will also be on display.

Special competition for children with the certificate for the winner include painting competition on Sunday December 4 at 4pm for first to third classes and Bible Quiz competition  for Catechism children on Sunday December 11 at 4.30pm.
