Mumbai: Talented Duo of Students Present Bharatanatyam ‘Arangetram’

Mumbai, Nov 28: The ‘Arangetram’ of talented Bharatanatyam dancers Vaishnavi R Devadiga and Tejasvini Murali was held at Vishnudas Bhave auditorium, Vashi, Navi Mumbai, on Sunday November 27.  It was organized by Navarasa Acadmey of Indian Classical Dance, Nerul, Navi Mumbai.

Both Vaishnavi and Tejasvini are the disciples of India’s top Bharatanatyam Guru and Navaras Academy chief Sushma Gopinath.



Reliance Group CEO Anant Ravi was the chief guest on the occasion.

The office-bearers of Karnataka Sangh–Khargar and Devadiga Sangh–Mumbai were present. Jayan Nambiar compered the programme.

Vaishnavi is the daughter of metro-based Devadiga Sangh vice-president Ravi Subbayya Devadiga and Vanita R Devadiga.  She studies in Class VIII of Delhi Public School, Nerul, Navi Mumbai.

Tejasvini Murali is the daughter of Jayaram Murali and Roopa Rao and is a student of D A V International School.
