UAE, Oct 8: In a spirited evening held at Winny’s Restaurant, Karama, the official "Poster and Ticket Release" event for Konkan Naadh 2024 was unveiled, marking a significant step in supporting the Konkani-speaking community's artistic talents in Dubai. organized by Tru Events and Bandscape. The highly anticipated event is set to take place on November 3 at The Emirates Theatre, Dubai, starting at 6 pm.
Tru events and Bandscape’s initiative focuses on providing opportunities for growing Konkani artists and nurturing their talents with the support of seasoned mentors. Roshan D'Silva shared the motive behind the event, emphasizing the importance of giving emerging talents a platform to perform and grow. He expressed gratitude for the collaboration with Bandscape, a renowned band that will play a crucial role in elevating both new and existing talent to the next level.
For the first time in Dubai’s history of Konkani events, 'Konkan Naadh 2024' will feature a unique format—there will be no traditional stage program, offering a fresh and innovative approach to audience engagement. Melwyn Antony D’Souza (MAD) introduced the participating artists, while keeping two names as a surprise for the grand event.
The evening’s special guests included Dayan D'Souza, Manoj Vas, Johnson Monteiro, Alwyn Pinto, Rupesh Pinto, and Lancy D'Souza. They were warmly welcomed by the host, Dony Correa, who led the evening’s proceedings with enthusiasm. Alwyn Pinto also took the stage to provide key details regarding ticket availability and pricing.
Show convenor Lancy D'Souza spoke passionately about the unity and collaborative spirit within the Konkani-speaking community in the UAE. He expressed heartfelt gratitude to everyone involved in the event’s organization and praised the community for their collective efforts in making Konkan Naadh 2024 a grand success.
The event concluded with the official unveiling of the event posters and tickets, which were met with applause for their striking design. The posters and passes are now available, and ticket reservations are open to the public.
