Puttur: Awareness talk on ‘Free Legal Aid’ held

Puttur, Oct 11: Dharma Jyothi Social Centre cum Spoorthi Charitable Trust organized an awareness talk on ‘Free Legal Aid’ in the premises of St Mary’s School.

Sr Rency D’Silva, advocate, spoke on the provision under article 39 A of the Indian constitution which guarantees equal justice and free legal aid.

Sr Joel Lasrado the co-ordinator of Dharma Jyothi Social Centre and trustee of Spoorthi Charitable Trust was present for the programme.

As many as 78 individuals benefitted from the awareness programme.
