Mumbai: ‘Chinnara Bimba’ 9th Annual Day Celebrations on Dec 30

Mumbai, Dec 1: The preparatory meeting for the ‘9th Annual Day’ celebrations of ‘Chinnara Bimba’ was convened at Vishveshwarayya auditorium, Karnataka Sangh, Matunga (West), on Tuesday November 29.

"Karnataka CM D V Sadanand Gowda will be invited to attend the celebrations and prize distribution programme scheduled to be held at Shanmukhanand auditorium, King Circle, on Friday December 30,” said Surendra Kumar Hegde of Chinnara Bimba.



“Borivali (West) MLA Gopal C Shetty will preside over the programme while CM D V Sadanand Gowda will be felicitated on behalf of the metro-based Tulu– Kannadiga Associations on the occasion,” said Chinnara Bimba promoter Prakash B Bhandary.

Kannadiga Patrakartara Sangh Maharastra president Chandrashekar Palettady and Navi Mumbai social activist Santosh D Shetty were present on the dais.

Ashok Pakkala compered the programme.  Karnoor Mohan Rai proposed the vote of thanks.

Satish Salian of Chinnara Bimba, Ramesh Rai, Ravi Mendon Kurkal, Sachidanand Shetty, Ratnakar Shetty Morla, Dr Sunita M Shetty, Ramesh Poojary Nerul, Nitte Damodar Acharya, Krishna Acharya Dahisar, Professor Sitaram R Shetty, Sundar C Moily, P K Salian, Sadashiv Karkera, Harish Padubidri, Balakrishna Bhandary, P M Salian, Mohan Banjan, Jagannat Rai and office-bearers of Tulu–Kannadiga Associations were present on the occasion.
