Sullia: Man dies after consuming rubber acid

Sullia, Oct 15: A man who consumed rubber acid died on Sunday in a hospital.

The deceased has been identified as Sheshappa Gowda Palthadu (70), a resident of Goliadka in Markanja village.

He consumed rubber acid four days ago and was initially admitted to a private hospital in Mangaluru. Later, he was transferred to a hospital in Sullia, where he passed away on Sunday.

Sheshappa is survived by his son and two daughters.
