Mangaluru, Oct 19: Holy Spirit English Medium School, Mukka organised science and social exhibition in the school on October 19. A number of students from different classes participated in the exhibition.

The event began with morning assembly. Correspondent Fr Stany Pinto inaugurated the science and social exhibition by cutting the ribbon. It was officially inaugurated by correspondent Fr Stany Pinto, headmistress Sister Kavya SND, judges Leena Varghese Walder and Rose Santhosh and PTA vice-president Shanthi Fernandes by lighting the lamp.

Correspondent, in his inaugural speech expressed his delight at the innovative ideas that the students had displayed. He also congratulated all the participants for their dedication, parents for their encouragement and teachers for their support.

As the exhibition started, many students presented their projects - working and non-working models. Correspondent, headmistress, judges and PTA vice-president went around looking at different models designed by the students. Apart from models, the students also organised visual presentation to help everyone understand the concepts of their models

The main aim of the exhibition was to explore and encourage young talents and creative thinking among students.

At the end of the exhibition, upon careful inspection, the best three projects of social and science were awarded. Headmistress Sr Kavya SND congratulated all the participants and faculty members especially Sarika and Akshatha for bringing up such a beautiful event.
