Mangalore: St Joseph’s Parish Celebrates Annual Feast

Mangalore, Dec 8: The annual feast of St Joseph’s parish, Bajpe, was celebrated with religious fervor and gaiety on Wednesday December 7.

Alangar parish priest Fr Basil Vaz celebrated the festal Eucharistic celebration along with Bajpe parish priest Dr Mathias Pereira, assistant parish priest Fr Sunil D’Souza, and clergies from Pezar deanery on Wednesday morning.


Thousands of devotees attended the festal Holy Mass and gave offerings to patron St Joseph on the occasion.

The procession of the Blessed Sacrament in the vicinity of the parish, accompanied by parishioners singing hymns and scriptural reading by the priest marked confraternity Sunday on December 4.
The vespers were held on the evening of Tuesday December 6. The people belonging to different faiths participated in the festivities signifying unity in diversity.

The parish youth organized a fancy fete with colorful stalls. Lucky draw games added to the joy of the occasion.
