Mangalore: Miscreants Damage Grotto of St Anthony in Valencia House

Mangalore, Dec 12: The grotto of St Anthony at a house in Valencia was stoned by unknown miscreants here on Monday December 12.

The house is located opposite St Vincent Ferrer Church in Valencia, and belongs to Romeo Saldanha.

The incident occured early in the morning when Saldanha had gone to Church.

The miscreants pelted stones at the idol and damaged the glass case. The idol was also damaged.

Speaking to Daijiworld, Saldanha said that he does not suspect anyone and has no clue why anyone would do such an act.

Police personnel led by P R Jagannath arrived at the spot and are investigating the case.

    What ever the present government does good to Chritain community, it will not get votes from them in in any elections.It does not mean that Chritians should be treated indifferently.

    THE PRESENT DAY GOVERNMENT IN THE STATE IS SUPOERING AND HELPING CHRISTIANS.

    IT SEEMS PERHAPS PEOPLE WHO DO NOT LIKE THE CHRISTIANS HAVING A SOFT CORNER TOWARDS THE PRESENT GOVERNMENT IN THE STATE TO WIN IN THE FORTH COMMING PARLIMENARY ELECTIONS.
