Mangaluru, Nov 21: A team of Lokayukta officers from the city and Chikkaballapur raided the residence and office of Krishnaveni, an officer in the mines and geology department, in the early hours of Thursday.

The Lokayukta team arrived in three vehicles at an apartment complex in Valencia, where Krishnaveni resides, and conducted a thorough inspection of the house.

Simultaneously, the team also raided Krishnaveni's office at Mallikatte in the city. She had assumed charge in Mangaluru just two months ago after her transfer.

The raid, led by Lokayukta SP Natraj, is focused on verifying documents and other assets.
