Dammam, Saudi Arabia, Nov 24: The Our Lady of Lourdes Fellowship (OLLF) of St Joseph’s Parish celebrated its 25th anniversary with grandeur on Friday, November 22. The milestone event brought together community members for a day of spiritual reflection and cultural activities.
The celebrations began with the Holy Rosary, followed by a solemn Holy Service enriched by the melodious OLLF choir.
The inaugural ceremony, hosted by Ronnie Fernandes, featured the presence of esteemed guests and leaders, including OLLF leader Jerome Lobo, English community leader and HRIF leader Ryan Gomes, CCD coordinator Souvi Gomes, JCCF leader Stanley Solomon, SKY president Alwyn Fernandes, UGSA president Edson Fernandes, and DKF president Vijay D’sa.
A notable highlight of the ceremony was the reading of OLLF’s 25-year history by Amrith D’Souza, honoring the fellowship's legacy. Founding members Ronald and Anitha Sequeira were felicitated for their significant contributions to the fellowship’s growth.
A memories video, crafted and presented by Monalisa Britto, took the audience on a nostalgic journey through OLLF’s history, evoking pride among attendees.
The evening transitioned into a musical extravaganza hosted by Saritha D’Souza. Performances by renowned singer Melwyn Anthony D’Souza (MAD) and talented musician Prashanth Sequeira from Bandscape Dubai enthralled the audience. Cultural programs, including vibrant dances and skits by OLLF members of all ages, added to the celebrations.
A lively Baila session, led by MAD and Prashanth, had attendees dancing to rhythmic beats, making the night unforgettable.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Royden Roche, who expressed gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of the celebration.
The 25th anniversary was a testament to the enduring spirit and unity of the Our Lady of Lourdes Fellowship, marking a significant milestone in its history of devotion and community service.
