Mangaluru, Nov 24: Speaker U T Khader inaugurated Manishk Enterprises, a steel and metal furniture unit of VK Group, at Kambalapadav, Konaje, on Sunday, November 24.
Speaking at the event, U T Khader highlighted the importance of industries like Manishk Enterprises in generating employment. “Industries like these provide job opportunities for many young people. I always encourage the public in my constituency to support local initiatives, as they contribute to community growth and job creation,” he said.
MLA Dr Bharath Y Shetty lauded the achievements of VK Furniture's founder, stating, “Today, Vittal Kulal is a job creator for many. VK Furniture has established a strong foothold in the market through his vision and hard work.”
Former MP Nalin Kumar Kateel shared his admiration for Vittal Kulal’s journey. “When I first met Vittal Kulal, I saw a person with immense determination to succeed. His dedication and willpower have made him a hero in the furniture business today,” he remarked.
District BJP president Sathish Kumpala noted the growing recognition of VK Furniture. “While few may know the name Vittal Kulal, his company, VK Furniture, has become a household name in Dakshina Kannada. His success is a testament to his hard work, dedication, and sacrifice,” he said.
During the event, MLA Dr Bharath Y Shetty unveiled new machinery.
Spanning 20,000 square feet, Manishk Enterprises is set to significantly impact the industrial landscape of the region.
BJP leader Santhosh Rai Boliyar, Pajeer gram panchayat president Mohammed Rafeeq, and VK Group proprietors Vittal Kulal and Vinutha Vittal Kulal were also present at the ceremony.
