Bengaluru, Nov 28: To enhance skill development among students, significant initiatives are being provided for those who scored more than 70% in their Second PU exams in arts, commerce, and science streams for the academic year 2023-24.
HCL-TechBee, one of the country’s largest software companies, is offering training, employment opportunities, and financial support for students pursuing higher education.
To formalize this initiative, HCL-TechBee signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Karnataka Skill Development Corporation (KSDC) in Bengaluru. The MoU was signed by KSDC managing director M Kanagavalli and HCL-TechBee state head R Papireddy.
Under this partnership, students aspiring to start careers in IT and non-IT fields will receive professional training. Those selected for internships at HCL-TechBee will be offered a stipend of Rs 10,000. Upon employment with the company, they will earn an annual salary ranging from Rs 1.7 lac to Rs 2.2 lac. Additionally, they will have opportunities to pursue higher education at prestigious institutions. A training fee is applicable for the program.
HCL-TechBee launched this initiative in 2017. Students who passed their Second PU exams in the 2023-24 academic year and those appearing for the 2025 exams are eligible to register at https://bit.ly/TechBeeKSDC.
