Mass production of cycles with single person capacity will make the roads still more congested. If the cycle companies are serious about green and clean environment and reduction in sound pollution and air pollution, they have to think and plan differently. If they are interested they can increase and multiply the capacity of the cycles, where they can carry families, groups or incapable (to ride) persons. The solution by carrying more people by reducing the number of vehicles on roads is the desperate need of today. It is quite possible with a concept change, which is revolutionary.

It was a very encouraging work by the promoters and the youngsters of Mangalore. Congrats to Taj, Avon and Big FM.
But, again the helmet is missing. Let this event shape into regular events of international standard in the years to come. Good luck!

A bicycle (or tricycle) can pull 10 people or a ton of weight at ease and with speed by applying less paddling force than needed to ride a single person. It is possible to move with the whole family or a group of friends. It is an option to travel two or more persons together with safety and speed, by less force to paddle needed for a single person.

An idea to utilize carrying weight on wheels as energy to push. Utilization of hidden energy, which is free and abundant. 50% reduction of vehicles weight on land and multiplication in capacity of vehicles with minimum fuel. Tortoise style introduced when the population was less than a billion. Now it exceeds seven billion, still no application of rabbit or kangaroo style. Why can’t we have land transport revolution like the telecommunication with information technology?

To ride a cycle we need good roads or footpaths which we do not have in Mangalore. Mr.Shetty you want children to sacrifice their lives on our Mangalore roads.Only if we have good infrastructure in the city we can opt for cycles as a mode of transport.
